Tori had spent the day with family and friends, celebrating the holiday with numerous rounds of food, fun and laughter. She'd even participated in an Easter egg hunt, splitting into teams with her little cousins and her fellow Wind and Thunder ninjas.

It had been a close call between her and Cam, but in the end, Tori and her youngest cousin had come out victorious with the most eggs found in the least amount of time. No ninja powers had been employed. It had been a clean win. Even if Cam had protested long into the night.

Now, Tori was sitting on the beach with her surf board propped up in the sand next to her. She was taking in the sunset, feeling at home and at peace. Sure, she had things to take care of at her surf shop and at the Wind Ninja Academy but for now? Tori was going to enjoy the peace and quiet for as long as she could.

[Open for e-mails, calls, texts or surprise visits! I know it's been quite some time since I've posted... my bad.]

Tori had been spread pretty thin what with teaching at the Wind Ninja Academy, taking classes at the community college nearby and working on her surfboard company. When Tori got the night off from all of that, she took advantage of it and made her way to the beach.

She spent a few hours surfing and was now sitting on the sand, watching the surf in the moonlight. She loved the beach at night. It was quiet, peaceful and a perfect spot for her to meditate and practice her katas without interruption.

Tori would get up in a second to run through of them before heading home. For now, she was enjoying the quiet.

[E-mails, calls and/or texts welcome!]

Tori was spending her evening in Ninja Ops, eying the layout with determination. She found herself wondering what (and how long) it would take her to convince Cam to install a television in Ninja Ops, so she could watch the surfing competitions without interruption.

That way, she wouldn't have to cut her time short at the Academy where future classes were concerned. It was worth a shot...

Tori was currently sprawled out on the couch, watching an all day marathon of romantic movies. In the spirit of Valentine's Day, she'd been baking since she came home -- even after a grueling training session with Hunter. (She was going to be hurting for a while.)

A batch of heart shaped cupcakes were cooling on the counter and she was waiting for the batch that was in the oven, to finish. Then she'd frost them and bring them over to Ninja Ops. Tori was fairly certain the boys would appreciate them. Sensei, too.

[Open for calls, visits, e-mails, etc. Happy Valentine's Day!]

Tori was sprawled out on the floor of Ninja Ops, participating in a staring contest with the ceiling.

She'd eaten way too much turkey over the past week and if she never saw a turkey again, it would be too soon. She was seriously considering swearing off turkey for good. Tori had a feeling Dustin and Shane would never let her do such a thing.

She had a feeling they'd consider it blasphemy. Something to that effect.

Tori briefly considered going for a late run through the academy grounds but decided she didn't have the energy to move. Staring contest it was.

[Mostly establishy unless people feel like calling/texting/e-mailing her.]

Tori had gone on a shopping spree for decorations after seeing a Halloween!themed Reese's commercial on TV earlier in the day. She was currently hanging up decorations all throughout the Academy, much to the chagrin of Cam.

He'd said something about it not being close enough to the holiday to decorate and Tori waved him off, knowing he'd quit complaining if he didn't want to get on her bad side.

"Doesn't it look better now?" Tori asked a few minutes later, proud of her work. Cam agreed, turning back to the console and the Ninja Ops upgrade he'd been working on.

Tori laughed and sat down on the mat, grabbing a catalog from the ever growing pile nearby. "Now, to pick a costume."

That could take a while.

It was the start of another school year and Tori was double checking her schedule for the semester.

The classes looked good and it left ample time for her to train new students at the Wind Ninja Academy. She pulled over her giant calendar and started to fill in the days with her schedule. That way, she wouldn't be late for training sessions or classes.

As she wrote in time for surfing, she glanced at the clock and realized she was starving. She wondered if Jungle Karma Pizza was still open. She could really go for a slice right about now.

[Open, if you want. Power Rangers Jungle Fury reference brought to you by seeing a weetiny!David de Lautour in Xena Warrior Princess {"Altared States", season 1}.]

Tori had hit the beach as soon as the sun rose. She wanted to get as much time in with the water as she could.

She'd seen posters for a surfing competition all around town and was determined to place, maybe even win.

Tori had found the booth with ease and signed her name to the roster just yesterday. Hence her early morning practice.

After going at it for hours, Tori was sitting in the sand, her board next to her and listened to the sound of the waves (and noisy beach goers). She'd get back to the water in a minute.

For now, she was content to let the sounds of the ocean soothe her.
